We are looking to appoint a Teacher in Functional Skills to teach Functional English across a range of curriculum areas. The ability to teach Mathematics and / or ICT would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification and have a proven track record in the successful delivery of Functional English and / or Literacy qualifications. You will make a significant contribution to the development of the Functional Skills curriculum with the college and share best practice within the team. You will be responsible for the achievement of learner targets in terms of success, retention and achievement. You will also monitor learner progress closely by setting robust targets with learners.
Any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
