As part of our Cornwall housing advice centre, the Cornwall Multi Agency Assessment Panel (CMAAP) is an innovative and established project, working with clients who have multiple or complex problems. Co-ordinating and reviewing their support packages, we enable them to find a home and keep it. You’ll enable us to maintain the highest standards, empowering service users as well as supporting them and advocating on their behalf. It’ll be up to you to assess their requirements, looking below the immediate issues to recognise the underlying needs.
With an in-depth understanding of homelessness, you’ll need to have proven experience of housing advice work. You must also have exceptional organisational skills and be used to networking, negotiating, solving problems and gathering information, as well as developing strong and lasting relationships with other agencies.
This post is offered at 30 hours per week, with the potential of an extra day until the end of March 2010.
