Job description

coventry city council jobs

Administrators - Grade 2 / Senior Administrators - Grade 3

We've recently brought the Council's administrative activity into a single administrative service, to provide administrative support to a diverse range of Council services.

We are currently recruiting to Administors and Senior Administrators for our new Business Services Register. These roles will be responsible for the day to day provision of a range of administrative and clerical support to operational services. We are looking for people who are customer focussed, have had some experience in administrative work and are fluent in the use of ICT. All posts require a good understanding of customer care, well developed organisational skills plus the ability and willingness to learn, adapt and work flexibly.

If you are interested in being considered, you need to apply on line. There will be an assessment and interview process to determine suitability. Once you are on the register, you will be contacted when suitable vacancies arise. Vacancies that are recruited to through the register are both full and part-time, temporary and permanent.

Please note, there are a limited number of applications for the register that we will be able to accept on this occasion. If you are interested in being considered you will need to apply as soon as possible. If you are not able to apply in time on this occasion the positions will be advertised on regular occasions throughout the year, to enable us to keep the register updated with suitable candidates.

If you are on the old clerical register, and you wish to be considered for vacancies within the new Business Services section, you will need to re-apply to go through a new recruitment process.
